With the price of petrol soaring, we are all looking for ways to reduce costs.

Registration top of page
To register, enter a few personal details and complete a few preferences:
- which days you wish to share
- what times you need to arrive and depart
- any gender preference (for Share-A-Lift partner)
- driver or passenger or either?
- smoking or not?
- any additional comments?
You will then be emailed your username and password
The Share-A-Lift system will send you a validation email. You will need to click on the link in the email to finish your registration and become a member of the scheme.
Login to the members welcome page - click on "sharers" to see if there are any potential lift share matches. It really is that simple!
Search for a lift share match top of page
- View the matches live on screen - you are the green bubble - other members are red bubbles
- Further details are listed in a table below the map with a link to contact details
- Look again for matches within a larger or smaller radius, en route or with different margins of arrival and departure times
- Pan around the map and zoom in
- Mapping covers the whole region
Other facilities top of page
- Contact a potential lift share match - business telephone or e-mail contacts normally supplied. Clicking on the e-mail address will open up Outlook or other similar piece of e-mail software
- Amend Details - allows members to update their personal details at any point in time
- Amend Preferences - allows members to update their personal preferences at any point in time
- Password Reminder - allows members to have their passwords sent to them by e-mail
- Password Alteration - allows members to change their password at any point in time
